In dreams I can feel his quiet presence, guiding me up life's long hill, comes the smell of Old Holborn, a soft kiss on my neck, then I'm back in the arms of my Bill. "Oh God, how I miss him, if only", "How many times have I cried out God Why?". He had so much to live for and enjoy in the world, things he never had a moment to try. Retirement so happy, was only 5 months away. So hard had he worked all his life, a sea man forever from a fine Scottish clan. I was so proud to be my Bill's wife.
