ConnieMITCHELLMrs Connie Mitchell, of Yarraville Street, Rawtenstall, died at home on Sunday, December 5, aged 75. Connie was a solicitors clerk at Harry Walkers Solicitors, Waterfoot. She was involved in church work and activities at Kay Street Baptist Church, Rawtenstall, over the last 50 years. Connie loved narrow boating on our boat named ‘Constance’. She also played short tennis with a group of friends. She leaves behind husband Charles, sons Paul and Andrew, daughters-in-law Jeanette and Ann, grandchildren Abbey, Adam, Lucy, and Rebecca, and sister Joan. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 17, at 12.30pm at Kay Street Baptist Church, Rawtenstall, led by John Prior. Family flowers only; donations if desired to BMS Birthday Scheme can be made online at www.fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Service, Rawtenstall.
