ChristineMITTONdied on Friday, September 10. She worked at McLearys Shoe Factory in her younger years, and was a Care Worker at Olive House until her retirement. She loved arts and crafts, knitting, and her grandchildren, and attended St Saviour’s Church, Bacup, then Holy Trinity, Tunstead. Mother of the late Heath, she leaves children Jon and Lauren, grandchildren Hayley, Shay, Bethany, Kelsy, Jayden, Thomas, and Donaven, and great-granddaughter Heidi. The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 30, with a church service at Holy Trinity Tunstead, conducted by Revd Derek Allen, at 10am, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am. All are welcome to join family at the Rose ‘n’ Bowl, Stacksteads afterwards. The interment of ashes will take place at Bacup Cemetery at 12 noon on Friday, October 1.
