After knowing you for 20+ years and knowing you was my brother’s grandad (not blood) you was a really sweet, kind man. Loved working with you and admired all your work. May you rest in peace. Have a beautiful time in heaven. We’re all so heartbroken that you’ve had to leave us but you lived a long happy, healthy life and it’s your time now so have fun up in heaven Ian. Love you always x Chloe Mann ❤️

After 43 years working with you were like father and son never had a role, awkward laughing in joking gonna miss you really bad even before I went on a day you were giving me jobs to do for when I get back. I was heartbroken. I can’t believe it. Rest in peace pops. I’ll see you when I get up there. Give Sid George Billy and Alys your orders to get working Michael.
