Margaret was a really supportive friend and neighbour. She and other neighbours were very generous with their time and support when my wife Kate died in August 2018, especially helping to care for my cat Rita during the times when I was away from home.

I always enjoyed my chats with Margaret and her passing was a huge shock, especially as I had a great time talking to her (over tea and cake of course!) less than 10 days before she passed away.

Margaret will be much missed and very fondly remembered.

Margaret was such a presence in our community. She was always interesting to talk with and always curious about what was going on in the world. I shall miss her not being there.

Missing my dear friend Margaret. We had daily walks and chats, finding so much in common. (Not to mention the delicious cakes and nut roasts Margaret would bake!) Throughout her professional and personal life she provided support for others and maintained a keen interest in all that was going on in the world, together with a delightful sense of humour.
