Thank you for being the best Dad in the world, and staying with us for as long as you did without my Mum. We know how hard you struggled without her, and you are both now sleeping peacefully with our baby Norah.

Goodnight, God bless. See you in my dreams.

Deepest sympathy to my friends Lynne,Christine, Bernadette and their families on the passing of their lovely Dad Bernard. So many great childhood memories of times spent at Wright Street & Mile End (my second home) with you & Rose, your house was always full and welcoming. Fun trips to Harrison Drive, holidays in Skegness and Isle of Man, family parties & celebrations. Sundays afternoons in the Rising Sun and St Sylvester’s. Sing-a-longs in The Bull and weekends in St Anthony’s Club. You and Rose always made me feel like I was part of the family. Though an avid blue, you still bought me a red & white rosette for the Merseyside cup final, that meant such a lot to me and so did you. It was a privilege to have known you Bernard and I’ll keep you in my heart always. Sleep peacefully, back in the arms of your lovely wife Rose xx
