EamonnMURRAYFormerly of Athlone, Co. Roscommon, Ireland passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on 5th January 2026, aged 92 years.

Reunited with his beloved wife Anne, devoted dad of Theresa, Angela, Francis, Eamonn and Paul, dearly loved father in law to Michael, John, Lucy and Denise, an adored grandad and great grandad and a dear uncle. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends here and in Ireland.

Eamonn will be received into St Joseph's Catholic Church, Burton Road on Monday 2nd February at 7.00pm. Funeral Tuesday, 3rd February, Requiem Mass 10.30am followed by interment at Chellaston Cemetery DE73 6UU.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory will benefit Ward 2 at Florence Nightingale Hospital and any cheques made payable to Derby and Burton Hospitals Charitable Trust maybe given at the funeral.
