His funeral will take place at the Methodist Chapel, St Marys, Isles of Scilly on Saturday 22nd May at 1.30pm. Covid regulations will apply. I remember ‘John’ as a young assistant to ‘G’ Hicks on the Lily of Laguna, and kept in touch with him each time we came back to the lovely IOS, as Apollo owner, pilot, and Star Castle owner. Sorry to learn of his departure.
