ElizabethNICHOLSON(Bett) (nee Griffiths) Sunday April 13th 2008 Of Aberlady, aged 92, passed away in peace at Muirfield Care Home, Gullane. Inspiring and beloved Mam of Jan and Malc, dearly loved Nainie of Tracey, Chris, Debbie, Andrew, Marlies, Helen and Allan and their families and dear Hen Nainie of Sophie, Haydn, Zoe, Shareen, Connor, Robbie, Harry, Ruby, Ginevra, Riccardo and Seamus, dearest sister of Dot and Will and a very special friend to all. Bett touched the lives of so many people, of all ages, from Wales to Scotland and beyond with her love, strength, courage and compassion. A Thanksgiving Service to celebrate Bett's life will be held at Aberlady Kirk on Saturday April 26th at 10.30am, followed by interment at Aberlady Cemetery. All family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only please, donations may be given, if wished, at retiral of service on behalf of The Muirfield Care Home Comfort and Activities Fund for residents and The Haydn Jones Trust Fund. Haydn, Bett's 17 year old grandson, has cerebral palsy.
