On Tuesday 27th January we laid our darling son, brother, uncle to rest. Never could we have expected the outpouring of love and support throughout the day for our Jamie. He was one in a million. Jamie will forever be in the hearts of all who loved him. The support that has been shown to us from family, friends and colleagues is unsurpassable. The support given to us from Pastor Eoghan from the Baptist Church is unsurpassable. The support given to us from Tracy Morrison, funeral director at Jardine's is unsurpassable. The messages, the cards, the visits, the meals, the acts of kindness from too many people to mention has taken our breath away all for the love of Jamie. We are immensely proud of all of you for everything that you have done to support us at a time we never expected to face. The shock and the grief of losing our darling boy so suddenly, unexpectedly and so young will live with us for a very long time. However, because of all the forementioned you have brought light into our lives by showing how much he meant to all of you. Celebrate the times you spent in his company. Speak his name and let his memory live on in your lives, every time you raise a glass, party, go on trips together. Morrisons was a huge part of Jamie's live and he was a loyal friend to many who worked with him from the start of his career with them in Safeway. I know that he won't be forgotten in the stores where he worked. I know his name will be spoken many times. Thank you for loving our son they way you did and we will always be grateful that we were chosen to be his parents and his family. He was very special in our lives and brought us only joy and laughter. Rest in Peace our wonderful Son......Mum & Dad.xxxx

So sorry to read about Jamie, my husband and I met him in Tenerife last year, such a lovely, friendly guy, we got chatting and as we live in Ayrshire, I said I would call into Morrisons when passing next time. Thinking of his family at this very sad time.

Rest in peace, Jamie, a life well lived and the greatness of the loss your family and friends are feeling is a measure of the love you gave in your time here in life. You will be lovingly remembered.

Tomorrow I say my final goodbye to my beautiful big brother and best friend. To lose Jamie so suddenly is truly devastating. He has always been by my side supporting myself, Mark and our 3 children. Jamie was a family man and was devoted to our parents. They were equally devoted to him. I feel truly blessed to have had such a beautiful, kind, caring, selfless and supportive big brother who had my back. Always a calm, steady presence and knew the right words to say. Also very funny and great company. Matthew, Amy and Lucy will forever miss the love and guidance Uncle Jamie gave them. The family group chat is quieter. Life is quieter. Our family forever incomplete. Always loved and never forgotten. We will take Jamie with us as our lives move forward. I know he will be beside us and watching over us. Sleep tight Jamie ❤️❤️❤️
