John WilliamNICHOLSON(Benwell) Peacefully in hospital on 14th January 2026, aged 93 years. Beloved husband to the late Sheila, devoted dad to Margaret, Judith and Susan. John was also a treasured grandad, great grandad, father-in-law and friend of many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends please meet for John's funeral service on Thursday 5th February at The West Road Crematorium at 12:30 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be received on the day with proceeds going to Newcastle Food Bank, Benwell Lane. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.
