Alfred ThomasNORMANformerly of Rishton, died at Henley House Care Home, aged 90 on July 24.
He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy, devoted dad to the late Graham, brother of Peter and the late Tony and much loved brother-in-law and uncle.
Alf was a passionate and accomplished artist who loved to spend his free time painting.
As a career Alf worked as a textile designer and was accredited with designing the pattern of the curtains aboard the QE2 as well as the golf towels for the famous Scottish hotel and golf resort, Gleneagles.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Alf's funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, BB5 6HA
on Wednesday, August 12 at 11am.
