Pat SimonNORMINGTONNORMINGTON PAT Simon, Tim and Jamie, sons of the late Pat, wish to thank Relatives and Friends for the support and warm expressions of love and sympathy received after their sad loss. We are especially grateful to the staff of Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on Ward 19 after Mum's hip operation, and Ward 12 during the final days of Mum's life. The care and affection shown gave great comfort to Mum and those who love her. For so many friends to attend the Fixby crematorium service was very much appreciated, and thanks to Edward Holmes for his thoughtful words and to Rodney Pearson for playing the organ. We must also thank Vicky, Jared and their colleagues from Co-Operative Funeralcare of Brighouse for conducting proceedings so sensitively and professionally, to Simply Flowers of Brighouse for providing such beautiful arrangements, and to Maggie and Rick Starkey of Roundhill Inn for the wonderful buffet and hospitality given to our guests. With a carpet of flowers sent floating down the River Calder through her hometown, the morning after we laid her to rest, Mum was given a good send-off. We will miss her very much, but her love will be with us forever.
