ShirleyNOWLANIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Nowlan (nee Rowe) on the 20th August 2025, aged 88 years. Shirley is now reunited with her Husband Harold who she has mourned since his untimely passing in 1990, she was a Treasured Mum to Chris, Beverley (deceased) Clive and Helen, much-loved Mum-in-law to Tina, Michael and Mark, and a cherished Nan to Kirby, Sophie, Callie, April and Lauren, and her great-grandchildren. She was a much-loved friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.

Shirley's service is to take place at Ford Park Chapel on Monday 8th of September at 11.30, to be followed by a private family burial. At the family's request if you would care to wear bright colours or a splash of green to the service that would be much appreciated. Also if anyone would like to send flowers they can do so to the address below. Whilst Shirley did not die of cancer, in memory of her daughter Beverley donations if desired can be made to Macmillan.

Our kind and caring mother and mother in law,
Life will never be the same without you,but we have so many happy memories of all the wonderful things you have done, and said, most enjoyable memories of seeing my mother in law on myWednesday morning visits, armed with the herald, magazines, and to see her
face light up when i took out the cheese sandwich and bags of toffees,a beloved soul who touched many lives.
