A silent tear, a broken heart,
Since the day we had to part.
But love remains, a shining ray,
Our sister, missed every day.
We close our eyes, and there you are,
Shining like a distant star.
Your spirit dances in the breeze,
Our pain now softened with some ease.
Each morning sun reminds us still,
Of laughter shared, of time to fill.
Though you are gone, you left your grace,
And joy still lingers in your place.
The world grew quiet when you left,
Our souls still mourning, cold, bereft.
But in our thoughts you always stay,
Our sister dear, so far away.
We smile through tears, for all you were,
A heart so kind, a gentle stir.
With every breath, we hear you say,
“I’m with you, always not far away.”
