Dear Eileen, Jean, John, Gerard, Kevin and all the family,

I was very sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing, and I offer you my deepest sympathy at this sad time.

I remember Gerry as a gentle, upright and compassionate man, totally dedicated to his family and to the Church. He also had a genuine interest in other people, and there was a kindness and attentiveness about him that left a lasting impression. I came to know him through my aunt and his sister, Lily, during his frequent visits to Cavan, and I always held him in great respect.

May the many memories you shared with him bring you comfort in the days ahead, and may Gerry rest in eternal peace.

With sincere sympathy,
PJ Sexton

To Eileen and all the O Reilly family, my deepest sympathy to you all on such a big loss.

Gerry helped many people in Coventry in so many ways. I will be forever grateful for the kindness he showed to my late parents and to Willie and Brendan Mc Grath.

May he forever rest in eternal peace.

Dear Gerry – beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, and dear friend,

You are deeply missed and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. You touched so many lives with your kindness, love, compassion, unwavering faith, and the joy you brought to everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.

May you rest in eternal peace. May God welcome you into His loving embrace and grant you everlasting glory.

Today, we offer our prayers for you from Mexico, asking that Our Lady of Guadalupe watch over you and that God grant you eternal rest.

You will always be remembered, deeply loved, and never forgotten.

A wonderful example of a man of God, Deacon, friend and lifelong Pioneer. Gerry's relentless work ethic continued into his 'retirement' when he supported so many families in their time of grief. Mum and dad's great friend since the late 1950's.
His good deeds go before him.
May God bless Gerry (R.I.P.)
