JohnO'MAHONYIt is with great sadness to announce that John aged 87 years passed away peacefully after a long illness bravely fought with dignity and courage at his home in Cleethorpes on Monday 16th February 2026 with his loving family in attendance.
A much loved husband to the late Dorothy, a wonderful loving dad to
Simon & Paula and Rebecca & Rick.
A devoted grandad to Bethanie & Ryan, Esme & Harry and Joseph & Ciara.
John was also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a great friend to many, he will be missed by everyone who knew him especially his best friend Rodney.
A service to celebrate the life of John will be held at St. Mary on the Sea Church Heneage Road Grimsby
on Tuesday 17th March at 12.30 pm followed by a private family interment at Cleethorpes Cemetery
Family flowers only please by request, however donations in memory of John can be made to St. Andrew's Hospice.
A donation box will be available on the day.
