PeggyOMAN - (PORTMAHOMACK)Peggy (Margaret) passed away peacefully, at home, with her family by her side, on Friday 14th August 2026, aged 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Billy, much loved mam of Shirley, Ann, Donald, Henry and the late Wilma, Alison and George and a loving granny, GG and GGG.

Funeral service will be held from Peggy's home, Emohruo, Main Street, Pormahomack on Friday 28th August 2026, commencing at 1pm, thereafter to Tarbat Cemetery.

All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but a donation, if desired, can be made at the service, or online, for The Highland Hospice.

So sad to hear of Peggy's passing. I will miss her as she was like another mother to me when I was young, and was very friendly with her daughter, Wilma, who sadly passed away a few years ago.
I was glad to be able to speak to Peggy a few weeks ago.
I remember that she was an amazing knitter, and used to rattle off Aran jumpers at some speed?
RIP Peggy. (Tell Wilma, I'm asking for her) Remembering also Georgie and Alison. And if course, Billy. Together again.
