AlanPALMER19-04-1944 to 21-10-2017. It is with incredible sadness that the family announce the passing of Alan, after a courageous 15 month battle with Lymphoma. Alan was a beloved husband of Celia, devoted father and father-in-law to Helen and Stephen Milaney of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada and Robert and Alison Palmer of Ruddington, Nottingham. Alan was a much loved grandfather to Carys Milaney, Mia and Myla Palmer. Alan lived most of his life at Heol Gerrig, Merthyr Tydfil. After his retirement as a hospital manager at Prince Charles Hospital, Alan and Celia moved to Canada to enjoy country living. A celebration of Alan's life will be held at the Cottonwood Gordon Community Hall, Innisfail, Alberta on Sunday 12th November 2017.
