MargeryPALMERMRS Margery Palmer, of Almond Crescent, Balladen, Rawtenstall, died on Sunday, August 4, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 76. She worked as a wire inspector at Scapa Porritts in Stubbins. Her interests included Blackburn Rovers, and she loved walking Jasper the dog and spending time with granddaughter Amelia and Boots the cat. Wife of the late Geoff Palmer, she leaves daughter Amanda, step-son Philip and wife Zoe, brother Colin, niece Beverley and family, together with much-loved grandchildren Zoe, Amy and Amelia, and greatgrandchildren Millie and Robyn. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, starting at the Chapel of Rest at 9.15am, followed by a service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 10am.
