I fondly remember Alan from the early 1970's in Binley Woods.
At that time he drove a dark blue Rover 3 litre coupe which he was very proud of.
I remember him saying to me.."This is how you should wash a car Robert - panel by panel"....
I was probably about 15 or 16 at the time, but it was advice I took on board and have used ever since.
He was a kind and considerate man, the type you rarely find nowadays.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Alan much loved cousin of Peter. Rest in Peace Alan. Peter had such fond memories of your time growing up together and was very proud of all your achievements with the City of Coventry Corps of Drums. He will be very pleased to be re-united with you.
