Bob was a true friend to our dad (Alf). He is sorely missed and Saturday mornings will never be the same. Bob was his right hand man. The football, the news, they would talk nonstop and give each other a true friendship.

Our Deepest of Sympathies, go out to Veronica and all families. Bob was a very good Husband, neighbour and friend, who will be sorely missed, especially his jovial banter.

Over the years I have kept in contact with my cousin Robert, albeit mostly by email. He has helped me with researching the family history and correcting my mistakes. Mostly though, I will remember Robert as the one regularly getting in touch with my now 94 year old mother, phoning her and keeping her up to date. From the age of four, when  Robert was a pageboy at my parents’ wedding, he has always been a good friend to the family. Robert, you will be missed.

I have not seen Bob since our cadet days but still have very fond memories of him. Often thought of him when Norwich City football scores came up ! Wonder if he was still a supporter.
I know he was happily married to Veronica and I am pleased in knowing that he had a happy and successful life.
