Heavenly 77th birthday wishes, Mum. Not a single year since 2007 has made losing you any easier. Cancer took you far too soon, but it never touched the love, the memories, or the way you shaped who I am.

I still catch myself wishing I could hear your voice, feel your hug, or tell you about the life you never got to see. Some days the ache is quiet; some days it hits like it’s brand new. But every day, I carry you with me.

You were my safe place, my strength, and my heart — and you still are. I hope you’re at peace, and I hope you know your son loves you more than words will ever manage.
