JohnPARKER(of Parkers Bakery) It is with deepest sadness that we announce the death of John who passed away peacefully on the 14th of July 2019 surrounded by his family at Diana Princess of Wales hospital aged 90. Dear father to Karen and Keith, father in law to Sarah and loving grandfather to India and a great friend to John and a cherished friend to all. John was the Master Baker of Parkers Bakery on Oxford Street, Grimsby which was known for its famous hot cakes. John's family would like to thank the brilliant staff at Newgrove residential home where John spent the last 9 months of his life and the exceptional nurses at ward C1 for both going above and beyond the call of duty. John spent his life dedicated to the Freemasons where he was the Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lincolnshire, Apollo Lodge, Cleethorpes. Finally reunited with Mary. A funeral service to celebrate his life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 at 11:40am. In lieu of flowers a donation to Cuddles Cat Rescue, Wilton Road, Grimsby may be made if desired.
