I watched you suffer,

You went away,

Debbie was such a big part of my early childhood and I will always remember her with so much warmth and affection. Some of my happiest memories are of being in the kitchen with Debbie and my mum, listening to them gossip and laugh together while I happily joined in.

I can still picture the days of playing out in the street, and one memory that has always stayed with me was Debbie telling me I had to watch a film that night because she knew I would love it. The film was Grease — and she was absolutely right. Every time I see it, I think of her.

Debbie brought kindness, laughter and joy to so many people, and I feel very lucky to have known her and to have such special memories of her from my childhood. She will never be forgotten xxxx

Debbie, you made everyday working with you a giggle and you were one of your own! I will always remember those years at Rawcliffes/Whittakers so fondly! Thank you for making the perfect cuppa and always being supportive. You will be very much missed xx
