Joyce ClairePARKMANJoyce Claire Parkman, known to everyone as Joy, passed away peacefully on 10th August 2025, aged 85 years.

A much-loved sister to Brenda, Keith, and the late John. Joy will be remembered with deep love and affection by all who knew her.

Funeral service to be held at St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church, Wyndham Street, Barry, CF63 4ET on Monday, 1st September at 2:00pm, followed by committal at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road East, Barry, CF62 9PX at 3:00pm.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Joy's memory would be gratefully received for Ty Hafan, either online at joyceparkman.muchloved.com or via the Funeral Director.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Joy, please accept my sincere condolences from all of us here at Tŷ Hafan. Joy was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of their family and friends. They will be missed. 

At Tŷ Hafan, the diagnosis of a life-shortening illness turns everyday life upside down for families, leaving them facing a future that is so different to the one they imagined. Your generosity means they can receive the care and support they need. Thanks to you, they can create a lifetime of memories in the time they have together, just like your memories of Joy. I hope that gives you some comfort during this sad time.
