Passed away suddenly at Queens' Hospital, Burton, on Sunday 20th April 2025, aged 89 years.

Dearly loved husband to the late Ann.
Cherished dad to Alison.
Lovingly remembered grandad to Steven.
George will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Wednesday 14th May, service 1pm at St Chad's Church, Hunter Street, Burton, followed by an interment at Church Gresley Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in memory of George will benefit Dementia UK, and may be placed in the donation box at the service.

I’m so sorry Alison and Steven to hear of your devoted dad and grandad’s passing. George, always known as Tony was a great husband, dad and grandad and also a great friend, as was your lovely mum, Ann, for many years, and I will miss them both.
