It is with profound shock and sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Allen Pickard, in hospital on Saturday 10th January 2026, aged 91 years.
Reunited with his beloved wife of 64 years, Patricia (Pat). Cherished dad and best friend of Amanda, much loved grandad of Troy and partner Flo, survived by son Royston and family. Beloved son of late Charles and Olive Pickard, Springfield Terrace, Sherburn. Malton. Loved brother of the late Dorothy, Rhoda, Joyce, George and Douglas. A much-loved uncle and loyal friend and respected Snr Technician for Hull GPO/BT for 30 years.
"Dad was a respected gentleman and talented sportsman with the kindest heart. He was a man of quiet strength; he was always there for those he loved; he will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts."

A service to "Celebrate Allen's Life" will be held at Haltemprice Crematorium, Main Street, Willerby, Hull HU10 6NS on Friday 13th March, 1:30pm.
