KathleenPOINTONKath passed away peacefully on Saturday 12th February 2022 at home, aged 73, surrounded by her loving family who had cared for her.
The cherished wife of Arthur, loving mother to Sally and Steven and treasured mother-in-law of Sean and Tracy, devoted grandma of six and great-grandmother of nine.
Kath will be lovingly remembered for her warm smile, her sociable, caring nature and her deep love and affection for her many friends and family. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
The family will be holding a private cremation.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Astbury Congleton at 11am on Friday 4th March for anyone who knew Kath.
Attendees are kindly invited to wear a ‘splash of purple’ as a tribute, as this was her favourite colour.
A reception at Congleton Cricket Club will follow the service.
Kath was a very sociable lady who had many friends and varied interests. The family would love to have a copy of any lovely photos that you may have of her for a memorial scrap book.
The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Kath’s memory.
Any donations will be directed to the nurses who cared for Kath in her final days.
