Ellen ElizabethPOWELLBette née Harding Peacefully at Bridge House Residential Home on 28 September, we lost Bette, loving wife of the late Glyn, dear mother of Robert and dear mother-in-law of Sheila, loving 'Mam-gu' to Brieg, Dyfan and Meilyr and their wives Shabnam, Catrin and Anisha, and great-grandmother to Aara, Anoush and Eiry. Bette was a former resident of Drysiog Street and Rassau Road, and a teacher at Glyncoed Secondary School and Newbridge Comprehensive School. Funeral service at Victoria Road Funeral Home at 1.00 pm and Llwydcoed Crematorium at 2.15 pm on 16 October. Attendance through invitation only. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Bette may be made to Alzheimer's Society through Thomas J Thomas and Sons, Funeral Directors, Beaufort.
