Shirley IrenePOWELLIt is with great sadness that we announce that Shirley passed away on the 14th of August 2025 at the age of 90, surrounded by her family.

Loving Mum to Jane, Helen and Deborah and much-loved Grandmother and Mamgu to her 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Resting at James Summers, Newport Road Cardiff, until the service on Wednesday 10th September at 10.30am at Cathays Chapel followed by a committal service at Thornhill Crematorium, Briwnant Chapel at 12pm. The interment will take place at Cathays cemetery on the 12th of September at 11:30am.

Donations in lieu of flowers will be kindly received for Pancreatic Cancer UK and can be made directly via www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk
