NickPRIESTLANDSadly on Monday 22nd January at home, Nick of The Cors, Laugharne; beloved husband of the late Melisa, much loved Dad of Jac and dearly missed by his Sisters Harriet, Sarah and Amanda, Brother Adam, Partner Sarah, Mother-in-law Brenda, Sister-in-law Diana and friends too numerous to mention. Public funeral service to be held at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth on Thursday 8th February at 4.00pm. A casual dress code to reflect Nick's personality would be appreciated by the family. Immediate family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made for Cancer Research Wales via www.pefd.co.uk or c/o Peter Evans Funeral Directors, Rosewood, Plashett, Laugharne, Carmarthen SA33 4TT. Just saw this sad news. Met Nick in 1973 in Modbury when I was travelling Europe and staying with a friend in Modbury. A long time ago but I remember him being so easy to get to know, and so welcoming to this Canadian stranger. Spoke with him via text about 3 or 4 years ago after I stumbled upon an article about The Cors and we reminisced a bit. Another star in Heaven. Sincere condolences. Larry Grandmaison

We were so sad to hear of Nick’s death. Our visits to the Cors to enjoy his wonderful food in his fantastic house have been a regular feature of our holidays in Laugharne for many years. Our condolences to all his family. Alun and Diana

A lovely man in every sense


My thoughts are with the family and all who knew Nick as his passing will have affected many as it has me. Nick provided many enjoyable moments and was always a privelage to be in both his company and beautiful abode. A very humble and wonderful man who will be missed by many.
