PRIVATE ALFRED THOMAS GARTON BORN22nd June 1912, Killed in action 13th May 1944, in the Indian theatre of war. Laid to rest in Imphal War Cemetery India. We wish that we could see you dad for just a little while, we wish that we could hug you and see your lovely smile, but wishing gets us nowhere and longing is in vain. So we will hold you in our hearts until we meet again. Daughter June and Son Roger
