Uncle Al, you were an amazing big brother ( like a dad) to my dad.
You will never be forgotten, the stories will keep you alive in our hearts forever.
Thank you for the values you had, the love and kindness you shared and the love you left behind that will carry on in your children and childrens children. Until we meet again, sleep well my Uncle Al xxxx

Thankyou to everyone who made our final journey with dad such a heartwarming and loving experience. He would have been proud of us all coming together as a family for him, as family was always his priority. He showed us love through actions more than words, always being there when we needed him, through either big things or small. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a fierce pride, our cousins, aunties and uncles too. He would have been proud to see us all together to see him off, and told us not to be daft with all the tears... He earned every one of them. I can't imagine our life going forward without him in it but I know he'd want us to face it together, as a family. Love and miss you dad, always xXx

To our wonderful dad, Albert Edward Purnell, who passed away at the age of 91.

After receiving life-saving heart surgery at Broadgreen Hospital, Dad was blessed with another 11 precious years—the extra time he had wished for—to spend surrounded by the family he loved so dearly.

We will always be grateful for those treasured years and the beautiful memories we made together. Dad was deeply loved and will remain forever in our hearts
