Peacefully at home after a long illness bravely borne with his loving family by his side on 27th July 2025 aged 85 years, Stan beloved husband of Hilda, a loving dad of Shaun and Sharron, also a dear father in law of Wendy and Nicky, an adored grandad of Dean, Jasmine, Carly and great grandad of Cole, Oliver and Rome, a dear missed uncle and friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 22nd August at 11.15am.

Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

I miss you so much already Grandad nothing is the same without you. You weren’t just my grandad you were and always will be my inspiration and my idol. Through the toughest times in my life it was always you that was right there by my side and never stopped guiding me and making me the person I am today. There will never be enough words to explain the pain I’m going through without you being by my side but I promise to make you proud of me and guide my son through life the way you did with me! I LOVE YOU and thank you unconditionally not just for being the amazing man you were but for just being MY GRANDAD. Xxxx
