Peacefully at home, on Friday 4th January 2008, aged 95 years, Bill, beloved husband of the late Nancy and devoted father of Margaret and Michael, a dear father-in-law of Bill and Lisa, a truly inspirational and gentle man, whose fortitude in uncomplaining adversity served as an example to all who knew him. Cremation on Monday 14th January at 3.30pm at West Road Crematorium. Floral tributes welcome, to be delivered to John Bardgett and Sons Funeral Directors, 571 Westgate Road, Newcastle. Thanks are extended to all who made his later years comfortable and enjoyable. Rest In Peace gentle man.
