GeorgeRAMSBOTTOMGeorge passed away on Sunday, July 11, aged 83 years, at Royal Blackburn Hospital. George was the beloved husband of Esther, dearly loved dad of Ian, Peter, John, and Elaine, cherished Grandad to James, Liam, Thomas, George, Shannon, Ruby and Travis, loved brother of Maureen, John, Allan and their families, and also a good friend of many, who will be sadly missed. George retired from Associated Dairies in Accrington as a Milkman. He loved having family time and was very proud of his family. He was an avid sportsman, taking part in crown green bowling at Mercer Park, where he was also Captain, following Burnley Football Club and local teams. He also played cricket and loved fell running in his younger years. A service and committal was due to be held on Wednesday, July 21 at 2.20pm at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of George to North West Air Ambulance via the funeral director. Funeral director: Great Harwood Funeral Service, Great Harwood.
