Ahh I was saddened to hear of Mr Rankins passing. He was a lovely gentleman. Myself and other staff members at Broadway Travel Bebington, booked many a train ticket for him off to various locations around the Uk. He was a presence, his large frame used to block the light from the floor to ceiling window. & he was ever so polite and direct with his hello and announcement of his arrival in the shop. I loved his old school appearance and approach to business. Reminds me of another era…. God bless Andrew Rankin QC. Was nice to know you.

Andrew Rankin was a friend of my parents in the sixties/seventies.
On several occasions when I was about 11, he took me with him to Goodson Park
to watch Everton. They are fond memories.
