James (Jim)RANKINMargaret and Jim's family wish to thank everyone who attended Jim's funeral and all who have given their support in various ways and extended their sympathy at this sad time. We would like in particular to thank Ms Sheena Johnston, Celebrant at the funeral, for conducting Jim's service so beautifully, Emma and staff at John Kane Funeral Directors for greatly easing the burden of organising the funeral arrangements, the staff and pall bearers at Cardross Crematorium for conducting their roles so professionally and tenderly, and James John and Agnes Mary of the Abbotsford Hotel for making our guests so welcome at the reception. A very special mention and thank you must also be given to the paramedics who conveyed Jim to hospital following his accident and Dr Shiv Chande and the emergency team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, who fought so hard trying to save Jim's life. The family wishes to intimate that the sum of £600 was very generously donated by attendees at the funeral and will be shared between the SSPCA, Milton, and Combat Stress.
