Beloved husband of Pat, special dad of Sally and Sarah, and stepdad of Stephen, Peter and Samantha, dear grandad of Joseph, Peter, Faith, Patrick, Christopher, Harry and William, brother of Mary, father in law, uncle and step brother, who will be sadly missed. The funeral service will be held at St Peter's Church, Cleethorpes, on Wednesday 10th December 2008 at 1.45pm, followed by a private family interment at Cleethorpes Cemetery. By request family flowers only, but, if so desired, a donation in lieu for St Andrew's Hospice may be sent c/o The Treasurer, St Andrew's Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP. John is now resting peacefully with Co-operative Funeralcare, 55 Abbey Road, Grimsby, Tel 01472 355707.
