Royston JamesREES24.06.27 - 13.05.08 Peacefully on Tuesday May 13, 2008, at The Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Roy, of William St, Ynyshir, Rhondda. Beloved husband of the late Gwen, devoted father of Gaynor and Howard, respected father-in-law of Kerry and Gary. Cherished Bampi to Josh, Becky, Jack and Patrick. Loving partner of the late Jean Owen. Loved dearly and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Gaynor and Howard would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many cards, messages of sympathy and donations in lieu for Wards 19 and 20 of The Royal Glamorgan Hospital who looked after Dad, so well. A big thank you to so many who attended his funeral at Glyntaff Crematorium and also to the Baden Powell Club in Ynyshir, where Roy was chairman for many years, for providing a wonderful reception. We would like to thank Derek Jones, Co-operative Funeralcare of Ynyshir, for all his compassion and support shown in arranging the funeral and Reverend Alistair Swinford for the service, in reflecting on Roy's life.
