Beloved husband of Kate. Loving father of Tim and Nik, and step-father of Joanna and Melissa. Proud Grandad of Richard, Jamie, Jessica, Charlotte, Scarlett, Louis, Lucy, Katie, Myles and Zach. Brother of Alan. Uncle of Stephen and Sarah.

Lifelong member of Hollingworth Lake Rowing Club. John will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral to be held on Wednesday 23rd February 2022 at 11:50am, at Rochdale Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in loving memory of John to Hollingworth Lake Rowing Club. All enquiries to Kilpatricks Funeralcare Tel: 01706 374461.

We are sorry to hear of John's passing. His passion for rowing and HLRC was unrivalled. We both owe him for helping us on our rowing careers, most notably to get Tony started and for the Women's Henley campaign in 2009. Thank you, John.
