JohnREYNOLDSJohn, formerly of Godolphin View, Nancegollan, so very sadly passed away at Fairholme Nursing Home, Camborne on the 21 December 2025, aged 88.
John spent the majority of his life managing and working in bookmakers shops where his amazing mental arithmetic skills were put to good use settling bets. Born in Brixton, South London, his love affair with Cornwall began with a holiday to Hayle in the 1970's and culminated in him moving to Nancegollan in 1980 where his easy-going nature and great sense of humour helped him to make many lifelong friends.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 69 years, Pat, and their adored children Keith, Peter, Denis and Barbara as well as his 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne on Saturday 10th January 2026 at 12 noon. Black is not essential but smart funeral attire is encouraged, perhaps with a splash of Red to acknowledge John's lifelong support to Charlton Athletic Football club.
Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of John will be divided between Parkinsons UK and the MS Society. Donations may be received by retiring collection, or sent to the Funeral Directors at the address below.
