Thank you for your prayers, visits and countless acts of kindness, above all thank you to everyone who drove us to and from hospitals and airports in often appalling road conditions. We would also like to thank Dr Shaw and all the staff of the Cottage Hospital for going well beyond the call of duty in their care of Mac and indeed the whole family. Thank you too to the Reverend Harry Mowbray for all his words of comfort, to Billy and Margot Mackay for their sensitive and efficient handling of the arrangements for Mac's funeral, to all who attended that event and gave so very generously to the Friends of Blairgowrie Cottage Hospital, the sum of £1,296.07 was raised.
