JamesRICHENSMr James (Jim) Richens, of Rawtenstall, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Saturday, May 28, aged 81. Jim was an apprentice motor mechanic where he started at Yelloway Rochdale, and retired from Cormar Carpets in Ramsbottom. He enjoyed socialising with his friends Kenny and George. He was a member of Rosemount Working Men’s Club, and also Waterfoot Workers, where he enjoyed a get together with his many friends. He was husband of the late Mary. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 14, at 10.30am at Hamers Chapel of Rest, Rawtenstall led by celebrant David Hamilton, then Red Lion, Higher Cloughfold. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to North West Air Ambulance. Donations can be made online at www.fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations).
