KeithRIDINGMr Keith Riding, of Bacup Road, Waterfoot, died at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Sunday, July 10, aged 78. Keith was a painter and decorator for the majority of his working life, starting as an apprentice with Vernon Smith’s. He also worked in insurance, retiring in 2008. Keith took part in crown green bowling for Gaghills Bowling Club, where he was a member. In his younger years he played football for Helmshore Methodists, and cricket for Taverners CC. He later became the physio for Rossendale United FC. Husband of the late Ann, who passed away in April this year, he leaves sons Ian and Andrew, their partners Joanne and Jenna, grandchildren Connor, Natalie, Holli, Oliver, and Millie-Rose, his brother Kenneth, two sisters-in-law, and nieces. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium, led by Kathy Unsworth. Donations if desired to Cancer Research.
