MartinRIGBYMartin Rigby died on the 12th June after an accident on the Isle of Man. His family (including his partner Fiona) take this opportunity to thank so many people who attended his Funeral and Service of Thanksgiving at St. Mary's Church, Sandbach on the 29th June. A collection was taken in memory of Martin to be divided equally between the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the North West Air Ambulance. There was also a separate collection for Sandbach Church. Contributions continued after the Service and indeed until the fund was closed two months after his death on the 12th August. The R.N.L.I. and the Air Ambulance Charities each received the sum of £1,400.00 and in addition it is understood that St. Mary's Church benefited to a sum in excess of £500.00. In addition, thanks have been given for the cards, letters and expressions of assistance anyway from so many.
