BrendaRIGBYof Mickleover, respected PE teacher of Parkfields Cedar School and PE teacher when it merged to become Mackworth College. Later she was appointed a deputy head of Mackworth College.
Died peacefully at Ivy House Residential Home on Sunday 7th September, aged 88 years.
Much loved sister, aunt and long standing member of the congregation at All Saint's Church, Mickleover.
A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at All Saint's Church Mickleover on Monday 6th October at 11.30am.
At family's request there are to be no flowers but donations in memory of Brenda will support Cancer Research UK and All Saint's Church.
