The obituary notice of Barbara Ann Lois RIGG ((nee Horsman))

Mrs Rigg you will be missed by all the girls in Flowers by Harris you were a customer of ours for many many years we were so sorry to hear of your passing.

My Aunty Lois was the best Aunt ever; she was more like a friend and mother to me. Beautiful inside and out, kind, gave the best advice, loved, no, adored her husband, Uncle Mac, her children Fiona and Charles, and their families, her brother John/my father, her parents, and all of her pets throughout the years, from Sheba to Tess. My world is immensely more sad without her.

My dear cousin Lois was simply the kindest, warmest and most beloved of my older cousins. I looked forward to any visit to Lois with greatest anticipation because she was adorable and gave everyone she touched a feeling they were special to her too. What a gift she had of connecting with one, making everyone love her, as her beloved father Roy, dearest brother John and wonderful mother Barbara had too. Lois and all her family were the kindest, most generous people I ever met. They lived an example of love and care and made the world more humane, more caring and a better place to live. Now all are gone, the world is poorer and I am sadder, but I treasure my childhood memories of you and yours forever, never forgotten.
