Robert WilliamRILEYOf New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, passed away in hospital with his loved ones around him on Thursday, December 25. Bob, aged 81, was the beloved husband of Audrey, much-loved stepdad of Joanne and Jonathan, loved son of the late William and Evelyn, loving brother of the late sister Ann, loved uncle to Simon and the late Catherine. He sadly leaves behind cherished grandchildren, and great nieces and nephew. He was a much loved son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. Throughout his life he worked as a textile manager, working at Hilden Manufacturing and Woodnook Bleaching and Dyeing Co. In his spare time during retirement, he loved to travel the world with Audrey. He also enjoyed going out for meals with family and friends. Bob also loved animals especially Bonnie and Max his Border Collies. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family and friends. His funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 23 at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations are being welcomed for the memory of Bob for Parkinsons UK.
